Nadine and I were staring at Alpha Kentz. Whatever Nadine and I talked about was a dream. Alpha Kentz was at the scene when my mother died.

"Dad, is it true?" Nadine asked for an explanation. "Is the dream true? Did Lucian's father kill her?"

Alpha Kentz didn't say anything. His eyes looked at us sadly. I could see incredible pain, even though he didn't say anything.
