ZYLIAH’S POV

“Oh, Sayge, you’re home. Welcome, darling.” The way her eyes lit up, it was obvious she loved her grandson deeply.

“Yes, I am, Grandma Charlotte.” The way he crossed the room in long strides to embrace his grandmother showed that love was well returned.

He turned to his father and bent to give him a hug. “How are you, Dad?”

“Now that I see her, I’m fine.” He smiled and tapped Sayge on the shoulder. By ‘her’, he was referring to me.
