"What the hell just happened in there, Dr. Finney?!" I raised my voice once we were out of Private Ward 16 and in his office.

Both my grandma and dad were present but were currently standing there, saying nothing.

"She hit her head, Sayge." He began, infusing patience that grated my angry nerves. Damn! Why was he sounding so cool, as though what we had just witnessed was nothing worth the reaction burning through me?
