ZYLIAH’S POV

I yawned and stretched. The feel of a different body that wasn't soft or feminine froze my brain for a second before realization dawned—I'd spent the night in his room, in his arms.

Recounting all that had happened from the moment he'd come to tell me the kids wanted to see me—which was a lie, obviously—I couldn't stop the grin from breaking through.
