I watched the kids have fun in the water. At the rate they played in the water, it was a wonder they hadn't caught cold yet.

Although, they were always dressed warmly after a long time in the pool and given warm beverages to drink. Sometimes, Grandma Charlotte would have them take prescribed drugs for kids to fight against the cold.

"Waylen. Casper. Alexa," I called out to them in greeting.
