Sophia’s P.O.V

As I walked down the hallway beside Nathan, I couldn’t help but notice the strange emptiness on either side of us. The lighting was soft, warm—almost gallery-like, and yet there were only blank spaces on the walls, as though something had been taken down, or something was meant to be placed there but never was. It didn’t feel ominous exactly, just…curious. Like a story waiting to be told.
