Sophia’s P.O.V

Hearing the hesitation and worry in Nadia’s voice, I suddenly felt a knot twist in my stomach. I didn’t even know why, but it came out of me before I could stop myself.

“Is everything okay? Nadia, tell me it’s okay. Please don’t stand there quietly like that, just tell me.” My voice cracked more than I wanted it to, and Nathan immediately turned to me,  frowning.
