I couldn’t sleep that night.

Every time I closed my eyes, visions of Alpha Xander and Clara kept playing in my thoughts like a broken record.

I saw them together, their bodies intertwined, and the image felt like a physical wound, a knife twisting in my chest. I couldn’t block it out, couldn’t escape the torture of what he had done. The way they laughed at me together and the way they called me defective and unworthy made me want to howl in pain.
