My sensitive Alpha ears rang with the zigging sounds of arrows and my eyes flew open in reflex to ward off any danger near me.

However, I winced when I felt my craned neck and stiff body scream in pain.

I noticed a wall of archers in front of me and spray a volley of sharp arrows towards the last tree near the waterfall. The arrows seemed to use modern tech as they all converged towards their target who was my- oh my! My mate!
