Lex’s POV

My eyelids had long back lost their battle to darkness and I could smell my mate’s faint, sweet scent in the room. 

I hummed in contentment as the relaxed atmosphere liquefied my bones and I melted further in the soft mattress that kept my sore back content.

With my eyes conveniently closed, I pulled my bed companion deeper in my arms, who cutely and willingly snuggled closer to me and I let the perfect source of heat intertwine our legs.
