DYER

I open the door of Aila’s room but find Aislyn inside the room instead of Aila.

I watch as she looks at me in shock and the paper she's holding slips through her fingers and falls to the ground.

I'm equally as surprised to see her here. I remember this being Aila’s room; just what Aislyn would be doing here, alone, in the room, confuses me.

“I know this looks bad, and I have no right to be here, but if you would just give me a few minutes to…”

I raise my finger to stop her ...
