I don't know what reaction I was hoping to get from her, but seeing the cold pale look on her face will forever be engraved in my memory.

Her face looks ghastly. She looks ghostly pale and I watch as she starts struggling to breathe.

She’s having a panic attack again. I try to control my own racing heart as we can't both be panicking.
