My fingers are still holding her jaw firmly, but not too hard to cause her pain. I stare into her eyes, waiting to see if the impact of my words sinks inside her head.

I can't have her leaving here with the thought that my opinion of her has changed because she's latent.

The hungry fire burning for her inside me is still as hot as ever. If possible it seems to have gotten fiercer.
