There was darkness.

Not the kind that feels peaceful, not the kind that comes after a long day and wraps you in comfort. No. 

This one was Heavy and breathless. It was Cold and eerie like something had dead. I didn’t know where I was, or if I was even me anymore.

Then finally voices.

They sounded like whispers that danced in the night wind through the  trees, it sounded  soft, indistinct.
