By the time we got back to the palace, my heart was pounding, and I was jittery with nerves. As I swung down from my horse, I wondered if it was because of the impending war, or because I'd be seeing him again.

A servant hurried out of the palace to us. He bowed as he reached us. 

"Where are they?" I asked, striding forward.
