CHAPTER TWO

As soon as the Alpha ordered so, the guards immediately pulled me and started dragging me to the dungeon.

Their grips were so tight and my right arm throbbed with the sudden impact. The Beta’s claws had dug deep in it. I had stopped bleeding, but the wound was still deep, and it could open at any time.

Emotionally, they took me downstairs to the ground level of the house, or what some people called the dungeon. This was my first time being brought here. The dungeon was large and stretched out. There was a faint scent of wolves, dried blood and other animals. Most especially rogues and omegas that are disrespectful.

Just like me.

The guards pushed me inside a room that was small and suffocating. I misbehaved without knowing that the cells were so small.

“I don’t think you will get out of this cell alive,” One of the guards stated as he turned me around and tightened my shackles.

“All this pretty face for nothing” The guard ran his dirty fingers all over my face, not knowing that I was already fuming with anger.

After the beta, I’m gonna deal with the stupid guards.

“She needs to be fucked hard before she is killed," The other guard spoke and they both laughed.

When I heard their laughter, I lost it all and my nails elongated.

“Don’t dare.....," Just as l was turning, the guard gripped me immediately.

“This bitch is fucking crazy; she needs to be stopped," One of them hissed. Then, before I could process what they were doing, I felt a sharp long needle going deep inside my flesh. A loud cry came out of me as my body went completely numb and it began to weaken.

Total darkness.

It’s all I saw the moment I opened my eyes. My eyes hurt, and my head pained me instantly, so I closed my eyes immediately.

“Shit,"

What did the guards inject into my body?

“I didn’t know that you would wake up so soon” I heard that ugly voice, and a groan escaped my lips. It was a stupid beta. He clearly, had nothing in his life except to taunt and torture me. Nothing will come out of his mouth, the moment I will be set free. I will snap his neck and watch him bleed to death.

“What did you inject in my body?," I asked while glaring at him.

“I don’t think you would love to know it but whatever it is, you won’t shift again," He laughed at the end. “Shift again?," I asked, terror flowing down my body.

“Yes and you deserve it," He grinned

“Bring her, the Alpha wants to see her,"

The moment he said so, the guards quickly entered the cell and began to drag me out of the cell. I sneered at the stupid beta when I saw him grin.

He liked watching me suffer but the moment I get my freedom, he won’t like my revenge.

I didn’t fight as the guards dragged me to the Alpha’s office like a doll. I had no fear in me until we entered the office. The first thing my eyes shockingly fell on was the dead body.

Dead body of a man in the Alpha’s office. That immediately made my mouth fall open.

It was probably swift, the man’s death and no one even dared to bat an eye at what Alpha did. Instead, guards turned their heads down and two of them stopped holding my hands then picked up the body and took it out of the office.

“She is here Alpha," Beta Steven spoke the moment the dead body was taken and had the place cleaned.

Alpha Charlse turned and his gorgeous ocean blue eyes met mine and my whole world still. This was my first time to look him in the eyes ever since I was born.

I froze and the only thing that could be heard was my stupid heart beating a million times a minute. I had no idea what to do or what to say, but I knew what was happening right now.

It was unbelievable but he was mine, and I was his. We were mates.

I was mated to him. My wolf was already getting excited.

He also realized it because out of the blue his gorgeous blue eyes turned dark then he started to fume with anger.

“Let her go and leave," He snapped at the guards and the beta.

As soon as they walked out, he approached me immediately but with his jaws clenched with anger.

Heart racing, I turned my head away in fear of what was going to come next. Anger and power was oozing off of him

“Look at me," His voice was feral. I didn’t do it immediately but I regretted it later. He angrily grabbed my face, smearing the blood of the man he had killed all over my cheeks.

The smell of blood reached up-to my nostrils and a sickening feeling rose in my chest. I turned, meeting with his glare as the blood from his hand smeared around my jaw. My stomach went tight in knots. I stood still, fear running through my blood.

“You know the pack’s rules and guidelines, why did you decide to disrespect and fight my beta?," he asked.

“Why did he disrespect me too?," Before I could stop myself, words were already out of my mouth..

My response didn’t please him at all.

Darkness blanketed his staring eyes before he took a small step away from me.

“I can’t be mated to a person like you. You have got a smart mouth, but I’m going to make you suffer till you regret the day you were born," He hissed out.

“Suffering?! Do you mean rejecting me? " My sassy mouth couldn’t stop.

He was kinda shocked by my question and confidence but he stared straight through my eyes.

“Reject you? That’s an easy escape, don’t you think?” his voice was as cold as his eyes, as his heart. “The moon goddess gave me you and I’ll simply pay her for her kindness.” His tone was laced with venom, hatred and disgust. “If she thinks that I can ever accept an Omega as my mate, she’s damned wrong.”

“Get out of my office right now," His Alpha tone makes everyone obey but with my stubbornness I defied.

“Back to the cell or to my mother’s home?," My mouth did it again and I blurted out.

He didn’t even bother replying, his claws immediately elongated getting ready to kill me.
