Chapter 3

CHAPTER THREE

“Angelina wake up, don't get cold water.” Hearing Sherina’s loud pitched voice made me annoyed immediately. It was so early in the morning and I felt so sleepy.

“No.” My reply was short but final.

“Angelina don’t force me to do it," I heard Sherina murmur continuously but I kept my eyes closed. She was my best friend and she knew me well. I was so stubborn and disobedient. I didn’t follow rules just like other omegas.

Soon my blanket was pulled from my body and I felt my hair locks being pulled aggressively.

“Shit," I groaned in pain when cool air nipped at my skin.

“It’s training time. Let’s go before they come for us," She squeaked.

“What the fuck, what time is it?” I screeched, covering my eyes from the bedroom light she had turned on.

“It's six in the morning, now come on.” She responded.

I didn’t reply but I sat up with my eyes trained on her as I thought of a million different ways I could rip her apart.

I hated this.

But I had no solution. Finally with a heavy sigh, I slipped from the warmth of my mattress then dragged myself to the bathroom.

“What happened when Alpha ordered the guards to take you to the cells?”She asked the moment I returned to the bedroom.

“Save that question for another day," I snapped at her then put on my sports bra and my spandex shorts which I normally trained in.

“That's a rude bitch," she retorted.

“I don’t want to recall anything," I shrugged my shoulders, put on my sneakers then walked out of the room.

Inhaling, I took in the morning’s fresh air and the scent from nature itself as other members practiced on the grass ahead.

I walked slowly with Sherina but most of the pack members had their eyes on me.

Of course it was because I fought with their beta.

No omega has ever done that.

“Come on, let’s train from here.” Sherina tugged me toward a vacant spot on the field.

At first we were doing some squats peacefully until a loud voice sounded in the field.

“Everyone listen up!” He spoke loudly.

I turned my eyes to the trainer but cursed immediately when my eyes caught Alpha Charlse together with beta Steven walking to the field.

My mood for training immediately disappeared.

Why did they come?

They rarely came to the field. Why now? Why today?

“Alpha came to know that omegas are becoming more disobedient. I don’t train you to fight with any of the pack members," The trainer spoke and I knew that he was talking about me. I averted my eyes away from him and Sherina gripped my hand assuring me that everything was gonna be fine.

But she was wrong. I already had that feeling as I watched Alpha walk towards the field.

My mate.

“Robert, get me one of your best trainees. I want to watch this omega who had the guts to fight with my betta being beaten," That voice made me freeze in my clothes. He wanted to watch my ass get kicked. He wanted to watch me suffer just like he said.

“Angelina step out and come here," The trainer called me but I didn’t move. I was frozen.

“Angelina, don't annoy the Alpha again," Sherina’s scared voice made me come back to reality.

I was scared to hell but I walked in the circle.

“Helen came here," The trainer called that one girl that everyone feared and respected.

She was the best among us. She wasn’t an omega just like me and she really fought well.

She stepped out immediately with confidence. She had her blonde hair tied up in a bun and makeup.

She seriously had make-up yet she came for training.

“You really got the audacity to fight the beta, now wait for your lesson," She threatened me before she turned her fake smile to the Alpha.

I didn’t reply to her, I just turned my eyes also to Alpha. He had that evil smirk on his face. He really wanted this.

I snorted then rolled my eyes.

“Can we....," Hellen started.

“Yes start," Alpha cut her off in mid sentence.

Helen immediately got into her fighting stance, ready to strike. My hands up in defense, I watched as a smile crossed her lips. I could see how she was going to enjoy this.

She charged at me, swinging her right arm in an attempt to hit me in the face. Just in time, I dodged it.

She sneered angrily then she lifted her right leg. Before I knew it, it was already connecting with my ribs.

Shit it hurts.

The power that oozed off her was better than mine and still before I could do anything, her left fist sent a dangerous blow to my cheek and one part of my lips.

That was enough for me to lose my balance then I hit the ground.

The pack members immediately clapped their hands in excitement.

Anger blossomed in me then I sat up. Quickly I wiped the left part of my lips, checking for blood.

Damn I had it.

As soon as I saw it, I raised my angry eyes at her. She was walking around the field with a smile on her face.

“Wow! I didn’t know that you were going to give up this easily," Hellen turned her brown eyes to me.

“That’s not me," I spat, then stood up quickly.

Pain shooted in my whole body but I ignored it and prepared myself for the fight.

Before I could even make a move, she swung her left hand again, aiming at the ribs she damaged a few minutes ago. I protected them immediately but still with power she swung her right hand then hit my shoulder. She did everything so quickly and still before I could fight back, her left knee rose and collided with the damaged ribs I was protecting.

Shit!

I immediately fell to my knees as unexplained pain flowed down in my body.

Hellen hopped around again, smiling and grinning as everyone cheered her on. I didn’t raise my eyes but I heard Sherina’s voice begging me not to give up.

Of course many of the omegas didn’t support me. To them, I deserved it. It was me who attacked their beta.

And still I wasn’t ready to give up. I had the audacity to fight the beta, Hellen was nothing to him.

Those hits. Those simple hits that she was using against me, they were actually nothing.
