CHAPTER 5:

Angelina POV.

The creaking sound of the door brought my attention back, I had a lot on my mind, and it was killing me, Why me? It was the question I kept asking myself after hearing the offer Alpha Charles has given me, I was in a do-or-die situation and right now, I don't know what to do.

Thinking he was the one coming in, I didn't bother looking his way, I kept my head down while playing with my fingers, I was nervous, But I had to hide it, What about my ego? I breathed in and out several times until I got interrupted by a voice,

“Are you just going to seat down there? It seems you love the Alpha's room and won't want to leave, right? Why don't we do you a favor by giving you an opportunity to stay here for another ten hours?”

Hearing the voice of those annoying guards, I tried to talk, but I was so weak to do so, Wait– Ten hours? I've been in here for Ten hours! My lips were dried, I was tasty, My saliva wasn't helping because I had none left If this continues I might die. I'm just a weak Omega who depends entirely on my physical strength and mouth.

“You should be thanking your stars that the Alpha has something important to do, if not, he would have dealt with you serious” The second guard said.

I stood up from the floor, I staggered backwards, but I was able to get hold of myself, my knees were knobs, I wasn't feeling my leg, I needed something to lean on but couldn't find anything. This time around, it seems the moon goddess was on my side, Sherina came running in while yelling my name.

“Angelina! Are you alright?” She asked.

“Do. I look…alright to… you?" I managed to answer with a question. She made a tick sound with her mouth and shooked her head,

“I was worried that I would pick up your corpse, but seeing that you still have the strength to talk, makes me less worried” She wrapped her hand around my waist and my hand on her shoulder and she helped my walk back to my room, As for those two guards, I'll deal with them later.

I sat down on my bed, as Sherina quickly brought in some bread and jam with water, She watched carefully as I ate the food hungrily, like a huntsman who hasn't eaten for days, Actually I haven't eaten since morning, so I should be hungry. I dranked all the water and sigh loudly.

“Thank you Sherina, you are my savior” I thanked. I waited for her reply but didn't hear her, Instead her eyes were on me, She didn't even blink, Just then I knew she had something in mind to ask me, and I'm sure it has to do with why I was locked up in the Alpha's room.

“You know what I want to ask you, right?” She questions.

“No I don't” I bluntly replied.

“Yes you do. Angelina, now isn't the time for you to pretend like you know nothing, I'm serious, and I'm reacting this way only because I care about you, I hate the way you are being treated and… and…”

“And the curse of it, right?” I guess she was trying to find a situable word for it just not to hurt my feelings, “And do you think I love the way my life is? I don't Sherina, I don't”

“So why do you keep making things complicated for yourself?”

“I just want to be different, I don't want to be like other omegas who doesn't have a say for themselves, I want to tell them that not all Omega should be treated like trash, even though I'm an omega, I don't want to live like one, That's all I ask and that what I'm doing. You won't understand because you aren't one” I ranted.

There was a deep silence in the room, and that was when I realized that my last sentence much have hurt her feelings, I didn't intend to, I went too far.

“I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way, I only –”

“There's no reason for you to be sorry, I understand what you are going through, and I'm trying my best to be of help to you, I'm trying to fit in and also join in your pain and happiness” She said. I sighed, rubbing my palm together, Sherina is the best gift I've ever received from the moon goddess and I should be RESTful, If she one day does anything to hurt me, I won't hold a grudge on her, because she has done enough for me.

“Thank you”

“I don't need that, All I need now is an explanation from you, How did you end up in the Alpha's room, I knew something would go wrong when he dragged you inside, Did he do something too hurtful to you?”

Starving me for ten hours was already hurtful to me, What else has he not done to me? I'm just waiting for the day he would finally end my life, and I'm never going to allow that day come.

“So….”

“He asked me to me his breeder”

“What?!” Sherina yelled. “Are you being serious? A breeder, as in a sex slave?!” She yelled the more, and I nodded. “What is wrong with him? Is he out of his…” I immediately covered her mouth, Sherina hardly insult anyone, especially the Alpha, I don't want to see her doing that because of me.

“He wants to have a child with me, it's not that we love each other, so why is he going this far?” I asked.

“Did you reject his offer and that warranted you being locked up?” She inquired from me and I replied with a nod.

“The fun part is that I get to lose my life if I don't accept, Has he forgotten that I have a family?” I scoffed.

“So what is your decision now?”

“I have no other option Sherina, I'll have to be his sex slave”
