CHAPTER 8:

Angelica POV.

I woke up early together with Sherina to do morning chores before the regular morning training we do. I was responsible for washing the dishes with some other mind who had the same task as me. Sherina helped prepared breakfast with the chief maid, I had to wait for Sherina so we could go to the training field together, Only for me to be given an errand to go serve Alpha Charles,

“Why would I serve him? It isn't my job to do that, and you know he would not touch the food if I serve it to him, I'm Angelina, the person he hates even at his last breath” I reminded.

“He personally gave his order for you to bring his food for him, and you would be doing that every morning, I'm sure you know the reason for his order. Now take this to him” She ordered.

I looked at Sherina, who made a reassuring expression and smile for me to take the food to Alpha Charles, and without hesitating for a second, I took it and headed towards his room. I only accepted to be his breeder, I never said I would be his slave, A breeder, and a servant are two different things. I have to clarify myself when I get to his room.

Shifting the food to my left hand, I held the door knuckle with my right hand, but stopped halfway in opening the door when I heard Charles Voice,

“You can call her a slut, I don't give a fuck, and I know is that she is my breeder, and she would remain the same forever” He spoke out loudly. There was no response coming from the room, That only means he was on a call with someone, Who? I don't need a soothsayer to tell me, the slut and breeder he was referring to was me.

“Would you really waste your time to come see her yourself? Like I said before she is just a breeder, Steven was joking around with you, you know how unserious he is” He added.

I have no idea who he was talking to, But telling a stranger about our deal and making me look like a fool was something I would never tolerate. I immediately opened the door without knocking, I placed his food on the side-stool beside him and stood in front of him.

“I'll talk to you later, I need to handle something”

“Really Alpha Charles? Are you this low headed? I know I was stupid when I agreed to be your breeder. I had no choice but to agree to everything you say. Didn't you consider how I would feel? Why do you have to tell a stranger something you could have just kept a secret? This is my life and not yours!” I yelled.

Honestly, I was very annoyed, I was ranging in anger, I wanted to cry, but I would rather not humiliate myself the more in front of him.

“I do whatever I want, I don't mind eliminating any hindrance, You should watch the way you talk to me Angelina, The more you act like this, the more I want to make your life miserable, and I own you, I own your life, I do whatever I want with you and you don't have a say. You should be all over the world that you are my mate, I would have killed you if you weren't” He replied. He stood up, took a step forward, but I held him back.

“Can't you be nice to me?” I asked. What? Did I just say something this calm? What has gotten into me? It feels like I was slowly dancing to his tone. I have never been this pathetic while talking to him. How— A little smirk appeared on his face, and I knew immediately that this was his impact on me? What is he trying to do? Make me fall for him and then…

“Dump you” He completed. It wasn't surprising that he was reading my mind. “You are right Angelina, I'll torture and torment you and at the same time make you fall for me slowly, and finally, I will ruin your life, I love the way you think fast” He smiled.

“Someone like me would never fall in love with a devil like you!” I yelled. “Do you know how much I hate you? I hate you to the core Alpha Charles, I wish I could…”

“But you can't, you would never get the chance to do anything to me” He interrupted. “From now on, you would not only be my breeder but also my personal maid, I've made arrangements for your room to be next to mine, see you before the day runs out” he ordered.

It seems he would not stop at nothing until he ruins my life entirely, He already said he would make my life miserable, it shouldn't be something new that he surely would, He was Alpha Charles. But I would never let him do it, I'll surely stand up for myself like the way I have been doing, I have nobody but myself.

“You want me to be your personal maid right? I agree, I would do anything you want, but I promise, I'll also make you fall in love with me, I'll make you want to see me and have me every day" I answered. This time I was determined, He is my Mate, giving him myself was something he would have if we loved each other, but since we don't it doesn't make a difference.

He was about to reply when his phone rang, “What?…. Send the location, I'll make sure to be there tonight” were his short response and then hung up the call. “Prepare yourself tonight Angelina, you would be going out with me”

“Where?” I asked.

“A nightclub, somewhere that fits you, Remember to dress sexy, Don't make me regret bringing you with me”

A nightclub? Regret bringing me with me? Well, I would, but In a painful and jealous way.
