We both fell silent again until she spoke once more.

"Did you have a hard time?" she asked curiously. That was all she asked, but I understood what it meant.

"At first, yes. I almost lost Summer when I was pregnant with her," I shared. "But Mommy, Daddy, and my sister helped me take care of Summer."
