That thought had me lifting my chin as I took a few steps closer to his large desk. “I brought some of my plans, like you asked.”

“Great, I’ll take them.” He stood and held out his hand. I walked closer and passed him the rolled-up schematics, which he opened and laid flat on his desk.

“Can you show me what these are specifically?” he asked.
