Aria's POV

"Can I pay for dinner?" I whisper to Lily as we enter the food court. I know I don't have enough money but... I'm counting on the fact that we won't eat much food.

"Dinner is on me," Lily replies.

"Everything has been on you today," I protest weakly.

"Exactly." Lily waves me toward the counter. "Go sit. I'll order."

I huff, but I go to find a table, and while I wait, I scroll through my phone. Unread texts from Jason. I roll my eyes and shove my phone in my pocket.
