Reagon’s Pov-

“Alpha!” I heard my beta’s voice as blood seeped from my hand, my hand tightened around the glass shard as I stared at her.

She looked so scared and terrified; she looked at me as if I was some kind of monster who was going to hurt her.

Well, if she had entered my pack with sinister motives then I wouldn’t hesitate to hurt her, however, she looked so fragile.

She stared at me horrified as she realized what I had done, her eyes were bloodshot, filled with tears.

She tried to move back but I held her hand tightly, her hand was too thin, and she looked malnourished did her pack really send her to harm my pack?

“I…I…” she tried to speak, her voice came out shaky and weak, but I just stared at her, her face was pale deathly pale, there were dark circles underneath her eyes as if she hadn’t slept for days, she looked tired and weak.

How come an alpha’s daughter was in this state? She suddenly burst into tears, “I am innocent, I really am, I didn’t mean any harm I didn’t come here intentionally.”

“SHUT UP!” William yelled, “You really expect us to believe that! Because of you, our alpha is hurt! you better start talking otherwise I am going to make you.” William said.

“I am not lying,” she said in a small voice.

“You fucking cunt!” William said as he and Thomas walked towards her, probably to beat her she whimpered and closed her eyes shut, Ruelle was paralyzed by fear and that made me angry, I did not like that she was scared in my pack.

“ENOUGH!” I said, Thomas and William backed off however Ruelle whimpered and for some reason, I did not like that she was scared of me.

I had no idea why I was thinking like that she was the daughter of my enemy, the man that I hated, I couldn’t trust her, there was no way I would ever trust her.

Is she using the fact that she was my mate to get to me, maybe her father found out and that’s why they sent her here to seduce me, but it was useless since I had already rejected her, there is no way that I will ever fall for a girl like her.

I harshly let go of her hand and she stumbles back. She looked around and she was scared of Thomas and Williams, “Get out everyone.”

“But Alpha-” William tried to argue but I wouldn’t let him “I SAID GET OUT! EVERYONE!”

“Yes, Alpha.” With that, the two went out.

And I was left alone in the cell with Ruelle, she looked at me but couldn’t maintain eye contact with me, as I took a step towards her, she stepped back till her back was against the wall.

I put my arms around her small frame and leaned in, he closed her eyes and started to shiver like a leaf, “this is the last time I am going to ask you Ruelle what are you doing in my territory?”

She started to cry hysterically but I will not be fazed by those tears, she is an enemy and I will kill her if she is here to harm my pack.

“I…I swear I am not here to hurt anyone; I was out on a run… I am not lying I am not lying, please, please, please trust…me… please don’t please don’t do that please don’t force me please don’t I don’t want it…”

I looked at her with a little shock it was like she was in a trance, I felt a little bad seeing her like that but in the next second, I shook my head stopping myself to feel sympathy for her, she is an enemy and this could be another trick.

I harshly grabbed her shoulder and made her look at me, I was already exercising a great deal of mercy, if it was any other person then that person would be brutally tortured by now.

However, I couldn’t bring myself to do that to her, despite her being my enemies’ daughter! I should be even more cruel to her!

Getting angry at these feelings, I harshly shook her and asked, “TELL ME WHY ARE YOU HERE! WHY DID THEY SENT YOU HERE?! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!”

She suddenly went quiet and stared at me for a while before her body went limp and she fainted in my arms.
