It was morning and finally Mikey's birthday.. I have been thinking so much about Astrid. She has always been in my mind and we have been talking a lot on the phone too. Text and all that. It was 4 am, and everyone was probably still pretty much asleep. Lisa was so deep into her sleep. I stood up to smoke, stood by the balcony with black shorts, and stared carefully at the busy street and the lights popping in my eyes.
