I didn't answer, and it ended, but my phone rang again and Avery stared at me like she knew something was up.

She looked at my phone and then back to my face.

“Are you not going to answer your call?”

“It isn't important”

“Someone calling you this late? I say it is really important and you should answer it”

I answered it, and with the looks on Avery’s face, she knew it was a lady.
