I saw him coming back and my eyes lit up.

“Hey, man. For a minute I thought you left me”

“Left you, to where? Come on, are you ready?”

“No, I am not”

“Great, now let's go”

I smiled and we walked side to side. We held our bags in our hands and I looked around the airport while walking outside to our car.
