Cindy rolled her eyes at Emily before walking into Jack's office. Jack created a space for her by the side and gave her a table and a chair. Cindy at first was afraid that Jack would use this opportunity to make advances on her, but she was surprised at how he acted.

He didn't try to get close to her or even make eye contact with her. She began to wonder if he had completely lost interest in her. Cindy found it difficult to concentrate on the documents she held in her hands.
