DAXTON

She was singing. Clever girl. She must've figured out that her singing could help tame my beast. Slowly, my claws retracted, and I leaned over, burying my face against the crook of her neck as my consciousness returned to me. My legs were weak now. They were barely holding me up, and I had to lean against her, my eyes slipping closed. She brought a trembling hand to my back.
