"Mommy!"

I turned my head and saw Harrison approaching with Daisy in his arms. Two pairs of strikingly similar green eyes turned to look at me simultaneously. One pair was clear and transparent, while the other was deep and inscrutable. My heart tightened, and I rushed towards my daughter.

"Daisy, come down. Let Mommy hold you."

Daisy obediently opened her arms, and I smoothly took her from Harrison's embrace.
