My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the roar of a car engine from below.

I stood by the floor-to-ceiling window on the second floor, watching as Peter drove an unfamiliar sports car into the courtyard and parked it in front of the villa.

Peter got out of the car, casually tossed the keys to a hurriedly approaching valet, and waved up at me.

"Hey, Harrison! Do you mind my sudden visit?"

"Is this your new car?"
