Early in the morning, after Harrison issued an eviction order to me, I packed my belongings, woke up my still-sleeping daughter, and prepared to leave The Dark Night Pack.

"Mommy, where are we going?" Daisy, who hadn't fully awakened yet, rubbed her eyes with her tiny hands and mumbled a blurry question.

"We're going home, sweetheart."
