Kayla's POV

"I think we can get back to the original topic now."

As Harrison's hand traveled down my shoulder, I slipped out of his embrace and pushed away from his chest.

"Fine."

Though Harrison's movements came to a halt, I could sense the undercurrent of dissatisfaction in his tone. He released me, straightened his clothes that he had disheveled, and sat down by the edge of his bed, supporting himself with one hand.
