I was really happy to be home finally. When I planned this for my party, I never thought that many alpha's would turn up for me. But now seeing the number it means they all regarded me as their leader. The party was really organized and I greeted so many people. Some that I was familiar with and others I wasn't.

I decided to take a break from all of these and brought myself to a private room to avoid the crowd for a while. Still the thought of a beautiful female clouded my mind. My mate whom I have been waiting for so long in my life. Who should belong to me and me alone. I never thought that I would actually meet her today in the forest. She looked so beautiful with the way she sat so peacefully on a big stone, her skin looking so soft and real in the daylight. I wanted to move so close to her, to hold her but I couldn't because this time she noticed me and due to my surprise she looked at me so strangely and instead of coming closer to know me more, she ran away from me.

My mate really ran away from me which was actually so strange. I recognized her as mine but why didn't she do the same? Was her wolf really awake? If yes, why then did she run away.

Well I felt maybe it's because of my title. She must have actually found out that I was the Alpha king and got scared; probably that should be the reason she ran away.

I had to find her. This was my second reason that made me happy for throwing this party. She will obviously come and I will get to meet her again.

"Hope you're good?" My Beta asked me thereby bringing me back to reality.

"Of course I am." I responded to him. Honestly Jason really has a way of always interrupting my thinking. I know he is concerned about me but he just needs to stop that sometimes.

"Hope everyone is satisfied and happy." I asked him, I didn't want him to know that I was really lost in my thoughts because if he does, he won't let me rest until I tell him what was on my mind.

"Of course, they are so happy. They compliment on how big it is and how you've become so calm. But I thought that you should also know how the people felt about you and again you kept looking at the door hoping to see someone. Are you actually waiting for someone?" Jason asked as he kept staring at me and wanted to find out what was in my mind.

"You really do overthink things Jason and please stop hovering around me like my mother." I said with so much seriousness in my voice.

"Well its fine if you say so but I'm just trying to protect you. By the way, apart from hearing good praises about you, I also heard that Alpha Henry was able to get married again. You remembered Alpha Henry right?" Jason asked me. As I thought about it, I finally remembered who he was and how he was so happy in planning to get married.

"Yes I do, what actually happened? He was really so fond of his supposed Luna.” I totally forgot about Henry and also I was actually curious to know why he wasn't able to get married.

"The truth was that, his supposed Luna wasn't his mate and he also found out about his mate. He decided to bring her to the pack and then went ahead to put the wedding on hold. He was really heartless for not considering his supposed Luna's feelings. If I was the one I would not try that at all."

"How did she react to the whole thing? What was her response?" I asked Jason, then took a shot of the drink in front of me.

"She didn't say or do anything since she doesn't have much power to do so. They initially asked for her approval to allow the omega to stay in their pack."

"You don't mean it. So his mate is an Omega. So he actually left his supposed Luna for an Omega? This is really interesting."

Jason rolled his eyes, "he even went ahead and brought her here as his date."

"Seriously, wow he really does not have any shame and heart at all." I said as I tried to stand up and peaked to actually see the so-called mate.

"Where are they?," I asked Jason and he pointed to a couple that looked like they were actually forced to be together. "That's them."

"Oh no, she really has zero fashion sense. So this is the person he picked over his supposed Luna. To be sincere I'm really disappointed in him." I said as I took another shot of my drink.

"Well it's his loss not mine or yours." Jason said before taking his own drink all at once but before I could respond to him, I was called to come out and that my attention was needed.

I came out and everyone started clapping for me as I made my way to the spotlight. It's been a long time since I actually met with all these faces and me being their king, I was ready to lead them. I was appreciated by everyone and they all honoured my presence. I reintroduced myself again most especially to those who doesn't know me because I could actually see so many new faces.

Some people came forward to greet me personally and said one or two words to me. They were all happy that I had finally returned to continue from where my father stopped. More people kept coming out to talk about my father and how good he was but in the process of all of this I lost track of what they were saying because I picked up the scent that was now too familiar to miss.

My mate was here and I couldn't help but feel so happy within me. I tried looking around but couldn't find her not until the door opened and a beautiful woman walked in immediately drawing everyone's attention. She had the beauty of twenty women put together and she looked so sexy in her peach dress that hugged her body thereby showing those curves of hers. For a second it seems I forgot how to breathe because the lady I'm seeing now looked so beautiful than I remembered.

Any moment from now she will feel my presence. But when she does I hope she doesn't run away again because I won't take it. She was descending the stairs, the fabric of her dress flowing after her. I could feel the eyes of many alpha's on her. On my mate. For a reason I felt jealous.

Everyone started to clap for her and she never even mind the fact that they were clapping for her. She kept moving in a majestic way until she made eye contact with me and stopped. She must have found out that I was her mate. I also started making my way to her until I stopped when I heard Jason's voice. "Oh, this is actually the supposed Luna to Alpha Henry."
