The loud, erratic beeping machine of the machine startled me out of the chair, landing me on the floor.My eyes were wide open with confusion and for the briefest period of time, disoriented too. Before it suddenly seeped into the sleeping part of my brain that I was in the hospital with my children.

I turned to see it was Zaya yet again. She was bleeding and this time, it was worse than before.
