The Past Still Hurts

"Why can't I see my daughter?" I queried the doctor that was put in charge of my children. I had been discharged this morning, the doctor had certified my health better and my blood pressure was now back to normal.

It had taken a lot of will from me to achieve that. I knew if I kept being sick, I would not be allowed to see my children and care for them as I should.

Also, if I needed to stand up for myself and my kids, I needed to do that while standing on my feet with my head held high.
