"Uncle Pete just told me you hired your ex-husband." Jared said the moment I walked into the living room. It was time to prepare dinner. I eyed uncle Pete. "Really?"

He was at the table, on his computer. There was a big home office/library in this house but uncle Pete mostly preferred working in the living room.
