After a few moments, an irregular graph appeared on the screen. A small thumping sound accompanied it. Hearing that, Emily laughed silently.

"It sounds so beautiful, Mommy," she whispered to Kara.

"The baby's heart sounds healthy. Thank goodness he's okay," Louis continued with the same smile.
