"Are you sure you're okay?" Jeremy whispered softly.

Ava quickly looked away. "I'm fine."

"No. You're not fine. Your face is very pale. You look tired. When was the last time you ate?"

Ava let out a faint gasp. A second later, her eyes peeked cynically. "I told you I'm fine. Why do you force me to admit that I'm not fine?"
