I heard Adrian say and my heart skipped.

"Kiss me, Sophia," he repeated.

My breath hitched in my throat. I was unable to think at that moment. I didn't know what to say to him or how to react to him.

"Why... Why should I kiss you and how is that going to prove otherwise?" I asked him, stuttering.

"If you indeed do not plan to seduce me, then kiss me without touching me," he said and groaned mentally.
