Alpha Aiden.
The screams and burning fire was a bit satisfying as I watched the little village burn down. I sat still on my seat, watching one of my warriors gather up the women. Pathetic little things. So vulnerable, it pissed me off.
How pathetic was their Alpha who was being dragged towards me by my lead warrior, Drogo, his limbs tied up in ropes. He was just as weak as the rest of his pack. Those who dared to go wolfing on me were killed on the spot.
The fears I instilled on people filled me up all the time, it drove me crazy. Power is a sweet thing. Power was all one needed to concur the world, to concur territories and take over them, to take whatever you want. Power was what these peasants called Alphas didn't have and didn't even care to have, putting their subjects into harm's way and getting killed themselves.
Drogo stops in front of me, dragging the called Alpha to his knees in front of me.
He has his face buried down but Drogo grabs a fistful of his hair and yanks his face up towards me. I looked into his eyes, smirking mockingly at him, mocking his weakness.
" Aren't you going to plead, Alpha? " I asked him, my smile unchanged.
He continues to stare at me, eyes furrowed. I leaned away from my chair and slowly reached a hand over his lower lip to touch the blood that trickled down from his lips.
" You've got something here, Alpha, " I mocked him, " are you okay with that? "
" Do whatever you want! " He blurted " you're a big disgrace to the wolves! "
" Disgrace? You wound me. I am just not weak like the rest of you. You see, I have the power " I replied before waving a hand for him to be taken away and killed.
Disgrace? All I've done is restore the honors of the werewolves dynasty. If you cannot fight to protect your pack then how do you intend to fight the coming war?
I hissed and looked around. Just then, I caught sight of a woman getting dragged out by one of my men. She bears long raven black hair, fear in her eyes as she was being dragged and dumped beside the rest of the women that were going to be taken as slaves. I watched her, feeling my groin swell as a result. I watched her for a longer while before looking away, a small smile tucking at the sides of my lips.
I sat still and watched the remains of the territory burn down to ashes before rising up to my feet.
" We scattered the place, Alpha " my Beta, Sam said as he stopped beside me.
Sam was my Beta who was also my friend. I trusted him more than I trusted anybody and he very well knew that. He was more like a brother to me. I may be a ruthless Alpha like the rumours has brushed against my ears but I wasn't entirely inhumane. I still respected Sam too, that counts.
" I want that wolf sent to my room tonight " I told him, pointing to the black haired girl who's now coiled up on the floor.
Sam's eyes traces my pointed hand to see her and replied " I'll ask for her name and......"
" Don't, " I cut him off " she's not my mate, I don't need her name for anything. You know what I'm getting at Sam, don't make me explain myself "
" Yes, Alpha "
I chuckled lightly before walking with him towards the other side of the territory. We were done here anyway.
'let's do this, Aiden!' my wolf squirmed inside me and just like that I let myself shift into my wolf form. I huffed and howled loudly. Sam shifts into his wolf too, a tall black furry wolf, howling after me.
'i'll beat you' Sam said to me through his mind.
'we'll see about that' I mind linked back before jumping off, my paws hitting the grounds of the woods hard as I went. The trees soon became a blur as my brown paws hit the earth as continued to run, dodging the branches easily.
'still coming, Sam?' I mind linked Sam whom I couldn't feel coming behind me anymore.
Just then, I felt myself being pushed to the side, his fluffy long tail coming in front of me as he made the big leap from the back to my front.
'you were saying?' he mind linked back, mockingly.
Feeling challenged, I increased paces and tried to meet up with him. Soon we were approaching the big water fall and taking turns to leap high over the big rocks before getting down towards my territory.
The blood moon pack soon comes into view, the heights of the werewolf houses and it's number intimidating to whoever came across it. The tall walls that protected the houses was guarded by four sentinels, situated high above on the rims of the wall gates.
I stopped before the large tree before the gates and shifted back into my human body.
Kain, one of my guards steps out from behind the tree to acknowledge me. " Alpha " he greeted, pointing a jeans pants at me, his head slightly bowed.
Sam steps out from a tree, now dressed in his own jeans. After getting dressed, we walked in through the gates.
" Did you hear about the Night stalkers? " Sam asked me as we walked side by side. " I heard they reached the West "
I pushed the large doors into the biggest pack house, letting myself in " I heard, Sam " I replied sternly, less interested.
" The blood moon pack is in the center, Al....."
" Are you scared? " I cut him off, stopping to face him " don't you think we're a match for these Night stalkers? "
" No, I don't mean it that way "
" So we aren't a match for them " I rose a questioning brow at him.
" What I mean is.....these wolves are known to be fierce and...."
" Don't worry Sam, our walls are impenetrable " I ensured him before walking away towards my chambers.
ALPHA AIDEN.
A few hours gone before the slaves arrived to the city. I got excited just thinking about what awaited me on the women's carriage. The night was quickly falling, twilight approaching from the west.
I sat on the iron throne in my Castle adjoining the largest pack house, alone, waiting. Being an Alpha king has proven to be more easier than I'd thought as a child. But on some other point of view, it was life threatening but being the one with the power, you could do any and everything. The thought makes me smile.
I knew my father wouldn't have let me sit on this throne. I couldn't care less about his death. That night....
He was a weak Alpha. When the city got invaded he did nothing. I could only say he deserved his death. An Alpha should never sit unprepared for anything, an alpha should never lose guard. An Alpha should always see the war coming and that is the only way to be powerful. My people feared me and I loved the fear I imposed on them.
The large doors squeaked open and Azura walked in, her leather pants clinging on the right places as she swayed her hips towards me. Azura was the leader of my personal team warriors. She was a woman, a strong woman who fought even more than a couple of the men around here did.
She feared nobody and if given the chance, she wouldn't bow to me like she needed to. Her intimidating height was a thing of admiration, her black hair always kept short above her shoulders, the right side falling over the left side of her face.
Azura was a beautiful woman who has fought beside me for as long as I could remember. Her loyalty was one to be recognized better and in some cases never to be questioned.
She bows her head as she stops at the foot of my throne, her face turned up towards me.
" We brought back the slaves, Alpha, " she said hastily " but we received a note from the watch men outside the city and you need to attend to it," she points a folded paper in front of me " the council is waiting for you "
Just then, the door pushed open again and I looked up to see one of the maids walking in, another smaller yet tall woman walking beside her. The maid has her hand folded securely around the other black haired woman's back whose face was buried down, making it impossible for me to see her face.
I watched them make their way forward and stopped in line with Azura.
The maid bows before saying, " She's ready, Alpha "
I shifted in my seat, my eyes going over the black haired woman's body. I recognized her now. She was the woman I'd seen earlier at the pack we invaded. She was beautiful, I wondered what she was made of.
" Take her in " I told the maid, waving a hand at them. The maid started to walk her towards my chambers, Azura's eyes following them as they went. I rose to my feet in an attempt to follow them.
" Alpha Aiden," Azura's call stops me and I looked down at her " you need to be at this council meeting. It's important "
I sensed anger and impatience in her words and her eyes said it all. She always hated it when I slept with women around the castle. It ignited this anger in her and I get it. She's a female warrior, she's bound to feel rational at all times.
" That can wait " I replied with a half smile before retreating back into my room.
I walked into the dimly lit room, the white curtains giving the room a foreboding mood about what was about to happen here, what always happens here.
The Slave girl stood facing the wall beside my king sized bed, her clothed back facing me. I watched her for a while, Wondering what was going through her mind. Did she know what I was about doing to her and was thinking of ways to beg for me to stop or even try to run away? The thought of her begging for my mercy turned me on instantly and I smiled widely. She should know better. I get what I want, whenever I want it. I always get any woman that I want inspite of their pleas.
" Turn around, wolf " I commanded.
Slowly, she turns around to me, her face still buried down. I could sense her fear, felt her shudder in her long blue dress.
" Look at me when I'm in front of you " I threatened.
She quickly looks up, her eyes meeting mine for a split second before she lowered her gaze again. There's nothing special there. Surely, I wasn't hoping for a miracle spark to happen there, wasn't hoping she'd be my mate.
" Get over here, " I groaned, annoyed " I don't like to talk too much "
She takes a few light steps and stopped right in front of me. I pulled off my shirt, causing her to gasp and look up at me. She knew what was coming. I reached for her shoulder and yanked a sleeve down her shoulder.
" Stop " she said shakily but it was a useless plea, fear and weakness in her eyes.
The sight of her in front of me made my heart pound merrily, her fear fueling my fires. Yes, that is how it should be.
Leaning closer into her face, I whispered in her ear, " it's not time for you to beg me, wolf "
I grabbed her waist before she could digest what I just said, spun her back to me and yanked her dress down her shoulders before bending her over, her hands slapping the end of the bed to hold her still.
