Chapter 5

Dangerous Kiss in the Dark

Giulia's heart raced as the front door to the shop hit her. Vincenzo didn't speak. The grip he held on her wrist was firm but not so firm as to make her feel secure. is going to escape.

And then, with no word, he slid open the doors of his limousine and ushered her in. The woman stumbled on the seat, and her breathing was slow and uneven.

"I'm sorry, please... I didn't mean it to."

She followed him in, slammed the door, and then swung his finger at the driver with no regard at the rear. "D"

"Drive."

"To where, sir?"

"I said just drive!"

Giulia was hesitant at the volume and sank into her leather chair. When she tried to talk once more, Vincenzo yanked her against his back. His eyes hung a couple of inches above hers, and his breath brushed over her cheek.

"Did you truly believe that I wouldn't detect the lifting of my phone?" The tone was barely lethal and low. The silence gave way to a rumble. "I felt your tiny fingers the second they slipped behind me."

"I wasn't trying to steal it," she said. "I just... I thought of calling my sister. My mother must be over her illness. I'm really, really--"

His friend's mouth collided with hers. The world vanished.

Her brain became unresponsive. She only felt the warmth of his lips and his kisses, which begged her to breathe. The thoughts of her became loud. As she sank deeper into the kiss, her hands moved against his chest, absorbing all of her thoughts.

The man pressed the button. A gentle mechanical sound gave way to a soft mechanical hum. The partition moved into place, sealing them off from the drivers.

"I--what was that?"

His lips brushed against hers before he caressed her neck.

"Lie across my lap."

"W-what?"

"You heard me."

The woman stared at him in awe, unsure whether she'd been able to understand, even though her body was already aware. The beat of her heart accelerated.

"Lie down, Giulia. Now."

She caught her breath.

"Is this really happening?" she wondered, each muscle of her body swaying between fear and a bizarre feeling of pulsating need. It was unclear which was the stronger one.

A hesitant move later, the girl slipped her way over his lap. Her face was red as her dress rose and she bared her legs.

"That's better," he said.

His partner's hand was on her hip. He held her hip with a firm grip, driven by desire. It then moved to the lower part of her hip.

"You know what happens to little girls who try sneaky things?"

"I didn't mean to--"

A snarling strike pierced the air.

She gasped and then jolted lightly. It wasn't painful at all. The heat spewed fast over her body.

"That wasn't so bad," she thought to herself, completely perplexed. "Why am I feeling this way—why do I want more?"

The legs squealed together with rage. The woman was angry that her body had reacted this way. The reaction was unnatural.

"Say something," he requested. "Don't make me repeat myself."

"I... I'm sorry..."

"Louder."

"I'm sorry!"

Once more, she received a smack. This time it was harder. Her breath shook.

"More... please."

The words vanished before she could put an end to them.

He laughed in his sleep, and he made a dark sound, which made her shake. "Greedy little thing."

The next hit was even sharper and caused her to gasp.

His hand then slowed down as he stroked her skin. "So soft," he whispered, almost to himself.

She sat down and closed her eyes. "What is happening to me?"

There was a strange twitching sensation in the air. His fingers then were able to trace her most sensitive point.

"Oh--" she groaned, almost cutting her tongue.

"Relax," he whispered to her in the ear. "Just a moment."

He didn't get too deep. only traced around the edge in a loop and over, as if he was able to pinpoint the way to let her loose her grip.

The thighs of her legs began to shake. She slowly drew in her breath.

It was too much.

"I've never... this has never--"

"I know," he whispered softly.

"How?" her mind was screaming. "How could he know?"

There was simply no time for explanations. The body of her exploded. Her back assumed an arched shape. Her hands quickly moved across the leather seat.

The voice shook in the midst of a rage that swept her over--wild, inexplicably intense, impossible to control, and too strong to even begin naming.

Then... stillness.

Breathing is heavy. Her heart was beating in her ear.

"That... that was my first," she said, barely able to talk.

"I could tell."

He turned around and saw her sucking his mouth the way she likes it—into the mouth as if it were the most delicious experience he'd ever had.

Her cheeks were burning.

He pulled her up and placed her on his lap. He dragged her to him in a shaky position, her legs shaking and numb.

"Are you okay?"

The voice sounded soft now, as if the storm had passed.

She smiled. "Yeah."

"Good girl."

Her arms were wrapped around her with a tight embrace, and he stroked her back, as if he were trying to ease the flame he'd set.

"I shouldn't want him," she pondered. "He's dangerous. He's not kind. He's not secure."

However, she was with him.

"Why'd you really try to take my phone?" He enquired, not making any accusations or threatening but just being curious.

"I didn't intend to hurt you. It was just... I was thinking maybe I should message my sister. or my mom."

"You miss them."

"Of course, I do," she responded with a sluggish voice.

He sighed, gently rubbing an unruly strand of hair off her cheek.

"You're not like the others," he murmured, as if he wasn't really trying to speak it loudly.

Giulia blinked. "What do you mean?"

He did not respond. The man's gaze was absent for a moment, as he became lost in a painful memory from the past.

She was tempted to enquire further but couldn't.

Instead, she leaned her head on his chest.

The limousine rolled along silently; however, the air that was between them was pulsing with heat.

"You didn't have to... you know... do all that," she told her after a few minutes.

"No," he said as he tightened his grip. "But I wanted to."

"That doesn't make it okay."

"No, it doesn't."

It's silence again.

"Do you always get what you want?" she enquired, and there was a bit more savagery in her tone.

He laughed, but only one time. "Eventually."

"What if someone tells you no?"

"I ask again."

"And if they say no again?"

He looked her down, and his eyes were unreadable. "Then I stop asking."

"Liar," she thought; however, she didn't speak the word. It's not happening now.

In the end, she asked, "What happens now?"

"We go somewhere quiet."

"Why?"

"To talk."

She shook her head. "We've done more than talk."

He laughed. "Then maybe we should continue doing that as well."

"Do I have a choice?"

He took a moment before responding. "Always."

He scanned his face, looking for any cracks within his mask.

Then, during her first experience, the girl discovered a crack.

It was just a speck. However, it was there.

It could be that he wasn't quite as cold as he appeared.

Perhaps there was some reason why he touched her as if he wanted to.

There was something going on behind all this power and penalty.

She wasn't certain.

She was determined to find out.
