ARIA’S POV

Even though fear gripped me, I wasn’t ready to bow. He could have his damn dinner for all I cared. Tonight was the night I’d finally meet Tom and figure out how I would escape this shit hole. My heart raced just thinking about it.

But my thoughts shattered with a sudden knock and the slow turn of the door handle.

“Who now?” I cursed silently.
