Liam, Luke, and Max stood frozen, their eyes locked on the dangling body of the dead prisoner. Liam couldn’t swallow down the storm building inside him. He turned sharply to Max. “Take the body to the pack doctor and meet us in the office,” Liam ordered. Then, harsher, “this must not leave the dungeon. No one should know, especially Aria.” His warning was clear, and they nodded. He signaled Luke to follow.
