The moment I entered the room, Eva was already there waiting for gist. I poured everything out to her, even describing Alora’s expression and every detail.

“We got her real good,” Eva laughed, and I joined her.

“So what’s the next plan?” she asked eagerly. I stared at her, shocked.

“Girl, wait for this one to die down,” I said, but Eva shook her head. “Nah, we are cooking everything in the same fire.”
