Aria paced around the room, building up courage to explain herself to Liam, especially now that his wolf is in charge.

“Have you gone?” Eva said as she yanked the door open.

“Going!” Aria said as she squeezed her way through the unsmiling Eva.

She walked nervously, even bent to check herself over to see if any strange scent remained. She would be a fool not to fear the almighty wolf of the rogue king.
