Aria thought they were both spent—gods, she definitely was. But when she glanced to the side and saw Liam already sitting up and reaching for his pants, her eyes flew open.

“Damn it,” she muttered under her breath.

Her whole plan had been simple: drain him, bring him juice later, let him sink into a long, heavy sleep—then she’d slip out and finally proceed with what she needed to do. But the man was too damn agile.
