As we walked, Liam finally separated from me and went ahead with my father while Eva quickly came to my side.

“You looked like you were about to faint,” she said, wrapping her arm around my shoulders.

“Your king is insane,” I muttered. “He threatened me with my father’s life. Since he wants a puppet, I’ll give him one.” My fist tightened at my side.
