I had no idea it would be difficult to hide the sadness in my eyes.

I wanted to see Micaela so bad, I wanted to use dinner as a means for us to talk.

I wasn't sure if I was going to apologize for what transpired earlier, but at least it would have been great to talk with her.

Still, allowing her to rest was the better option, though it made me sad as I knew deep down that she had given those excuses because she didn't want to see me.
