I woke up to a a splitting headache and pain shooting at my sides. I felt a warm body beside me and I looked down to see that it was Micaela. She was sleeping so peacefully that I forgot about my pain momentarily and stared at her beautiful form.

A piercing scream tore through the air and my ears rang, bringing back doubly the pain shooting through my whole body.
