"Why would she think that?" I asked,

"I don't know why kids think anything," He said and I sighed at his hard tone. 

"I'll talk to her tomorrow," I said and he grabbed my hand and tingles shot through me, however, he didn't release it.

"Follow me," I badly needed some sleep but I followed him silently to his home office. He sat behind his desk and gestured for me to sit on the guest's chairs.
